Okay what have I been missing while I was on holiday!? I know that this is late and you all have probably seen it elsewhere on the net but just in case you haven't (like me), then here is a round-up on all the news in the past 10 days or something.


Final Fantasy XIII Demo
It was announced that there will be a Final Fantasy XIII demo packed in with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete along with trailers for Versus XIII and Agito XIII. Not sure if it is just a PlayStation 3 demo seeing as Advent Children Complete will likely be published by Sony Pictures again.


Final Fantasy Agito XIII now for the PSP
That is right folks, Agito XIII the mobile phone only game that would only be released in Asia is heading to the PSP also so that means heading to Europe and North America also (for us Parasite Eve fans, the third in the series is also heading to the PSP, thanks Square!).


Final Fantasy Versus XIII to be Simultaneous Worldwide Launch
It was announced to be same time release but later said could be subject to change however it will likely be like Infinite Undiscovery where it is staggered across a week or something along those lines.

Also confirmed is that Versus XIII is still going to be a PlayStation 3 exclusive (good, means we don't have to wait longer for the Xbox 360 version to be made).


Real World Fashion in Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Square Enix is teaming up with clothing designers ROEN for some garments to be seen in Versus XIII which will be warn by, well I don't know, but you will see it in there.

At the same time ROEN will be selling real life versions of these cloths in shops.

I think that is all the news but if I have missed anything out just give me a shout (don't worry, I don't bite...)

Right first off one of the affiliates decided to go and only affiliate with sites that have more "hits" so they've removed me so I have removed them (oh well, shame about the email, not really that apologetic).

Secondly there isn't really much I can do to this site until the games are out where you will see a mass update of content such as character profiles, items, weapons, etc. So don't think I have left this place for good as I am just waiting for the content so don't panic!

Thirdly, yes I will keep on updating the news when I see fit that the news is actually new and worth it (not reposting and reposting old scans that many other FF13 sites do...that is just silly!).

So yeah, don't give up on this place as I am still alive and keeping an eye out for the site!

Update - Just about E3, I will be doing a big upload over at the sister site Final Fantasy Skies so keep an eye for the update full of screens, artwork, logos and just plain old press releases!

Well that has now been confirmed, Final Fantasy XIII is heading to the Xbox 360 at the same time as the PlayStation 3 (now that leaves the PS3 with little good exclusives).

Nothing else to say.

Square Enix has rubbished suggestions that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is on hold.

"Reports that development for Final Fantasy Versus XIII is on hold are false," the publisher said in a statement passed on to Eurogamer.

"The truth of the situation is that when free, some staff from the Versus team have been helping with the XIII team on development of Final Fantasy XIII. Development for both titles is continuing as originally scheduled."

That rather significantly contradicts translations of game director Tetsuya Nomura's comments in a Famitsu article, where he reportedly used the words "on hold" and said "the entire Versus team is helping to finish Final Fantasy XIII".

Well we will just have to wait and see what is going to happen.

Work on the action-themed spin-off for Final Fantasy XIII has temporarily ceased.

According to Famitsu (as reported by Forever Fantasy), game director Tetsuya Nomura said Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been put "on hold".

This is because "the entire Versus team is helping to finish Final Fantasy XIII", which is said to be the "number one priority". Still no release date in sight.

Square Enix plans to show its upcoming Final Fantasy XIII and Kingdom Hearts games this summer.

The role-playing adventures will be shown at an event in August, according to Famitsu (as translated by IGN). The event will be invite-only - those wishing to attend will have to put their names down on the community website.

It has been revealed that Square Enix has cancelled a "revolutionary mobile development" due to the recent slump with a 3 billion Yen in losses.

Although the title has not been revealed it is believed to be either Final Fantasy Agito XIII or Parasite Eve III, however it may have been a title not even revealed by Square Enix.

Well here I am again with some updates that I thought I would share with you.

Okay I know this is a bit old but just in case you missed the news (and well I wanted to test out a new style), Square Enix will be attending E3 this year.

Currently it is not known what they will be showing, will it be like last years downsized (and rubbish) E3 show or the old style lineup? So yeah, it is not known if any of the Fabula Nova Crystallis titles will be on show so we will have to wait and see.
