woot I just got mine today, didn't preorder it went straight in and bought it playing it now

I heard the game is total hit or miss. How you finding it so far? I have today off and tomorrow so tempted to go get it but in two minds

I'm going into this game blind, as in I havent really read or watched anything regarding news & developments etc. So far I've only done a few areas. So far I think its a good game. we'll just wait and see how great it is

some notes
you only fight as one person or as the leader, the others do as they please (similar to ff12 guests)
you have auto-ability (chooses the "best" commands usually attack or if theres a group of enemies in one area hopefully a group attack command) or you just enter the command in manually.
I like the attack ability since, rather than just the 1 hit like the old ff7,8,9 & 10 most do 2 and even 3!
it has battle screen, which I like. makes the battles more define.
although you only fight as the leader, you change characters alot so you can experience as different people

the locations so far are a bit out there really , they're not like ff8, all mechanical with pipes gears and work equipment, its more like ff12 your in a building, which is bigger in the inside, big stone stairs, which float in the air. huh??

then there are the voices they're great but.... EHHH,HUH, ARGGG, GRRWWAAA

I did the same Sword~ must say really enjoying it minus the fact that if your party leader dies you get Game Over O.o

yeah one thing I hate

really starting to get into it now

the charcter development system is interesting, quite like the sphere gruid in ff10, but 3D level. and you can shift your battle style to fight(reminds me of dressspheres in X-2 well sort of, but way better ) use libra to id enemies, then your ally use the correct spells to do more damage.

also I've preordered my guide (bought the limited edition one )

im now hooked on it, love the battle system (its not like the traditional old system we all love) its very strategy base. hmmm is easier than ff12 your allies are smarter

Eidolon fights are fun espec when, if your like me, just run in without Libraing it haha.

i remember the Odin one, /sigh that was harsh if you didnt bother doing anything to your Crystarium hahaha

arrggh trying to do odin now cant get it, any ideas? says it yields to chain damage and when you heal the wounded

Just continually heal hope and be a medic. Theres a boss later on who took me 5 attempts!

do what Calverz just said but to speed it up a bit Shift to Ravager x2 and just nuke it when everyone has health otherwise keep to Medic and Ravager.
